“To the Lands Beyond the Seas,” is mainly created using a base that was reclaimed from treated, mould-infested wallpaper found in a skip during a house clear-out in Aliyu’s neighbourhood. Aliyu also used recycled digital prints of his work “Escaping Hell Fire” and digital elements from other pieces in his extensive collection to create this artwork.
